Planet Rock Best New Band Wayward Sons
Waywards Sons have been voted BEST NEW BAND by Planet Rock listeners at the ‘Rocks’ awards 2018. To celebrate the news the group performed to a capacity crowd at Winters End festival, as special guests to The Temperance Movement.
Wayward Sons head out on their headline ‘Ghosts Of Yet To Come’ UK tour this April, and can be seen at Download Festival in June plus as guests to Saxon, along with Y&T, this October.
Featuring ex Little Angels frontman, Toby Jepson, Wayward Sons are an exciting hard rock band set to explode. It’s only been a few months since they released the critically acclaimed debut album ‘Ghosts Of Yet Come’ (via Frontiers Music) and they have already notched up a strong following, and live shows have been coming thick n’ fast. With performances at Rock n’ Blues Festival, Ramblin’ Man Fair, Steelhouse Festival, special guests to UFO, special guests to Inglorious and Steel Panther on their respective tours; Wayward Sons are making a name for themselves as one of THE bands to go see live.
The debut album ‘Ghosts Of Yet To Come’ was voted number 8 in Planet Rock Radio’s Top 20 albums of 2017.
