The Hot One Two release anticipated debut album ‘Superbia’
The Hot One Two, the rising British rock band, are thrilled to announce the release of their long-awaited debut album, "Superbia”. The album, a powerful exploration of the seven deadly sins, specifically focusing on 'Pride' (Superbia in Latin), is captivating rock fans with its blend of 1980’s swagger and modern rock/metal influences.
The artwork for “Superbia” was meticulously crafted in collaboration with renowned artist Freddie McKie, recognised for his work with Massive Wagons. The debut album was produced by Jake Day at North Acre Recording Studios and mastered by Grant Berry at Fader Mastering.
To celebrate the album’s release, The Hot One Two will play Planet Rock’s Rockstock Festival on Sunday the 3rd of December. This will be followed by the band hosting an exclusive album launch party at The Portland Arms in Cambridge on Friday the 8th December.
Both events promise an electrifying performance to round off a big year for the group on the British live circuit. 2023 has proven to be a breakthrough year for The Hot One Two, featuring standout performances at prominent festivals such as Call of the Wild, FireVolt, Hard Rock Hell – Sleaze, SOS, SavFest, and more. The band is set to continue their ascent with live dates into 2024, growing the success of “Superbia.”
Building upon their tight and energetic stage performances, The Hot One Two have worked extensively with Kris Barras at Ignite Productions and Zak Muller at Studface Productions on music and lyric videos that accompany their releases, as well as moving into creating their own.
The album’s singles, each representing one of the seven deadly sins, have already garnered attention. “The Fray,” the first single, earned the prestigious title of Track of the Week from Planet Rock and was selected as one of the two singles of the month by Hard Rock Hell Radio on the ‘Pure Rock Fury’ show.
With a rapidly growing fan base and a string of successful releases, The Hot One Two is poised to leave an indelible mark on the rock music landscape.
