KLOGR are an Italian alternative rock band with new album 'Fractured Realities' and are on tour with Evergrey

Italian progressive alt-rock/metal band KLOGR are set to release their highly anticipated new album, 'Fractured Realities.' This compelling collection of music prepares them for a special guest appearance supporting Evergrey on their extensive UK-European tour this November and December.

After a seven-year hiatus following their last album, ‘Keystone,’ KLOGR triumphantly returns with ‘Fractured Realities.’ Initiated during the lockdown, the album faced several delays due to personal challenges among the members but was finally completed in June 2024. ‘Fractured Realities’ marks a new chapter for the band, characterised by resilience and innovation.

Gabriele ‘Rusty’ Rustichelli, the mastermind behind KLOGR, shared: “It wasn’t easy to get back on the scene after producing our album, ‘Keystone’, with David Bottrill (known for his work with Tool, Stone Sour, and Dream Theater) and spending two years touring. The pandemic forced us to pause everything. Once things returned to normal, additional challenges emerged that further slowed down our work. Fortunately, we managed to restart, refocus, and complete the studio work. The personal pressure of overseeing all aspects of production was immense. Thankfully, teamwork was crucial in finishing the production and delivering what I consider to be the band’s best album.”

‘Fractured Realities’ sees KLOGR evolving their sound by incorporating electronics and synthesizers, which enhance their rock/metal foundations and propel their music into a contemporary domain. The new album is a journey through the various emotional challenges and disorders fueled by a society more focused on profit than on the physical and mental well-being of individuals. From the lead single ‘The Twisted Art’ (feat. Albert Eno) to new release ‘Unspoken Words,’ and album highlight ‘One of Eight’ through to the closing epic nature of ‘Whale Fall, KLOGR’S new album paints a profound and reflective portrait of human emotion, manipulation, and our quest for understanding and acceptance in an age of digital overwhelm.

The album and single artworks, designed by renowned illustrator Charli Aldrighi (Muse, Foo Fighters, Metallica), further emphasise the thematic depth of the music. Produced by KLOGR’s own Rusty and co-produced and recorded by Jarno Bellasio, the album, ‘Fractured Realities,’ was mixed and mastered by Federico Ascari at Zeta Factory Studio in Carpi, Italy.

KLOGR has consistently engaged and maintained a loyal fan base through their dynamic performances and intricate soundscapes. Following their 2017 album ‘Keystone’ and tour cycles with bands like The Rasmus, Butcher Babies, and Infected Rain, KLOGR is poised for a powerful resurgence. Since their inception in 2011, they have toured relentlessly, supporting notable acts such as Prong and Limp Bizkit, and capturing the intensity of their live shows in a 2017 video that features footage from ten concerts with guest drummer Art Cruz of Lamb of God.

In conjunction with the new album release, KLOGR will introduce a ‘visual edition’ of ‘Fractured Realities,’ which includes music videos for each track directed by former band members who intimately understand the album’s vision. These videos will play a prominent role during their forthcoming tour with EVERGREY, offering fans an immersive multi-sensory experience.

‘Fractured Realities’ is released via Zeta Factory 31st October 2024.
