ABOUT LAVIRE

“5/5 You’ll be seriously blown away by the insane talent of LaVire, they’ve mastered the ability to connect on several levels.” – Black Velvet Magazine
LaVire (La-Ve-Er) are a four-piece heavy rock outfit from Lincolnshire, FFO: Biffy Clyro, Halestorm, and The Pretty Reckless. Described by BBC Introducing as ‘a band with big riffs and even bigger melodies’ LaVire have been gaining momentum and attention across 2023 with their anthemic sound and energetic live performances.
Drawing influences from major arena acts of the last few decades, LaVire encapsulates feral attributes that threaten to blow open the genre of Rock. Not easily pigeonholed into any one sub-genre, LaVire are mastering the art of engaging songwriting, along with a whirlwind live set; both constructed to seduce the listener/viewer into their web of aspiration.
Magnified by the hypnotic talents of vocalist Chloe-Jo, who’s snarling viciously one minute then composed and endearing the next, LaVire doesn’t buy into any of that “look at us, we’re a serious band” nonsense. Drummer Adam bounces around behind the kit with a smile that could be sponsored by a toothpaste brand. Aaron & Aaron – yes it’s true – hold together the enchanted rhythms perfectly on Guitar and Bass.

The brand new 3-track EP, Chasing Sunsets, is OUT NOW and boasts three incredible songs that bolster the bands reputation and places LaVire on most editors/labels “Ones to Watch” lists.
About The New Tracks
One Way to LA is the depiction of unhealthy wishful thinking and the unrealistic expectation of being successful. It’s about wanting fame, money and adoration at any cost with the false idea that it will be the key to happiness. As artists, it’s easy to rely on the dream of ‘making it’ which can be draining and disheartening. I also believe that we are never truly happy with what we have and always seek for more, maybe too much, instead of appreciating the journey.
Save Yourself, Kid is a letter to our younger selves. As a child, I always wanted to speed up time to become grown up, but now that I’ve reached that time, I look back wishing I had been more patient and enjoyed life for what it was.
Fairweather Friend: When I wrote the lyrics of Fairweather Friend, I was inspired by my inner voice and my intrusive thoughts. I spend an embarrassing amount of time doubting and putting myself down for no reason and I’m also very much prone to cringe attacks, so I found it fitting to talk about that part of myself who’s not here to help at all, in any way.
